What’s Included
Gut Microbiome Test
A comprehensive at-home stool test that analyzes and quantifies the trillions of bacteria and microorganisms in your gut that affect digestion, metabolism, mood, and immunity. Using advanced DNA sequencing and stool chemistry, this test reveals key biomarkers and imbalances, giving us a detailed look into your gut health and helping us uncover the root causes of ongoing symptoms. Pre-Visit Health History Intake (20–30 minutes)
Before your appointment, you’ll complete a structured questionnaire about your symptoms and health history. This step helps your clinician connect the dots and deliver deeper, more personalized insights, and it’s nothing like the standard paperwork you’d fill out at a typical doctor’s office.
Two One-on-One Clinical Visits
Meet virtually with your Clarity clinician for a one-on-one 60-minute consultation. We use your written intake, consultation and the results of your gut microbiome test to craft a personalized care plan, which your clinician will review with you during your 2nd one-on-one visit (30 minutes). Together, you’ll explore how your gut data connects to your symptoms and overall health. You’ll walk away with a personalized care plan outlining next steps, treatment recommendations, and a path to reversing your ongoing issues.

- How long does it take to get my gut test results?
- Our partner labs typically take 3 weeks from the day they receive your sample. Because of this, it is important to get your test completed & shipped ASAP when it arrives.
- Do I need a Gut Test if I recently did an extensive blood panel test?
- Blood tests and gut tests measure different systems — blood looks at nutrients and hormones in circulation, while gut testing measures the bacteria and biomarkers that influence digestion, absorption, inflammation, and immunity. They’re complementary, and a gut test can illuminate why certain blood markers are high, low, or out of range.
- Is my health data secure?
- Yes. All personal health information is stored in a HIPAA-compliant Google Workspace.
- After my Gut Assessment is complete, can I continue care with my same clinician?
- Yes. We offer a Reversal Plan membership for those looking to continue their care and put their personalized care plan in action.
- Is this covered by insurance? If not, is it HSA/FSA eligible?
